Intent to Lien
Is there a standard form that I can send a property owner for Intent to Lien?
and does this have to be registered with the county?

NJ Construction Liens changed a few years ago. It is no longer necessary to file or serve a notice of intent. However, the lien notice itself must be filed and served within 90 days of the day of the last work or last supply of materials not counting warranty work. If that is not done, the right to file a construction lien is forever lost. Give your lawyer a few days to draft the lien document.
