Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
My 20 year old son went a purchased a luxury vehicle. He traded in financed car and was supposed to have his father that's in another state co-sign for him. The dealership took his trade in had him sign all papers and let him leave the dealership with the new vehicle. His father received documents and is now not willing to finalize the deal on this loan but the dealership sold my sons trade in and legally there is no contract in place on the loan for the vehicle he currently driving. We need to know legally how we are supposed to handle this situation now that even if he returns the car his trade in is no longer an option.
