Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
Accepting settlement offer
I am a plaintiff in a lawsuit involving multiple defendants. The defendant that we've sued enjoined the other parties. One of those parties has offered a small settlement to get out of the suit.
If I accept this, how does it affect the contingency fee agreement?

Re: Accepting settlement offer
It depends upon the fee agreement with your own attorney. But it sounds like it should be apportioned. Speak to your attorney about this.
