Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
car dealers resposibility
Purchased a 2000 Chevy Truck from a small dealership. Drove truck for 824 miles less than a month after purchase. Engine has blown, truck needs new engine. Signed a form ''As Is''. Should dealership be held responsible to help towards the cost of fixing this vehicle?

Re: car dealers resposibility
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but "as is" means exactly that unless you can show some conflicting representation. "As is" is the legal equivalent of "what you see is what you get."
