Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
Charged to Much for Used Car
I purchased a used suv from a car dealer last july. First they made us sign the contracts about 4 or 5 times they said they kept losing them. Second the suv that we are fianicing is a 2004 Escape and were charged 18,562.30 and it is used. The best part is that when we were purchasing it we told the dealer ship that it had a dent in the front and it needed teo screws for the front side panel and new front tires because the were bald. They said fine we will fix it. They never did we had to purcahse the tires and fix the side panel. When you go online to the dealership and look up Escapes they go from 13000 to 14500. Can I sue they for over charging me.

Re: Charged to Much for Used Car
Overcharging - NO. You have to investigate your deal before making it and signing papers. Think carefully before you ever sign anything, and consult with someone if you need to. Depending upon whe they promised vs. what they delivered, possibly. Sorry but you need to consult with to decide if you can or should sue.
