Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
dealership
i bought a car a few days ago and signed the contract even took the car home they call me back a few days later and tell me that i need another co signer and $3000 more to put down is the car legally mine now or do i need to return it?

This is most likely a scam designed to get you to agree to unfavorable credit terms. Call the Middlesex County Department of Consumer Affairs and find out what they know about the dealership. Odds are that you are not the first person with this problem. They may be able to help. You should also call a lawyer to go over the details of the transaction. My guess is that you will have a good suit for consumer fraud in the end.
