Electric meter is wrong
Electric meter and bills are incorrect in my favor if reported to electric company will I owe amounts from previous months?

Often utilities do estimates of usage. Depending on the untiliuty and the Board regualtions, it is likely that a mistake or underreporting opf usage will ultimately result in oyu being charged the difference.
Since you acatully used the electricity, it is your obligation. In the ame manner, if they overcharged you, you would expect a refund.
