failure in pre-paid Air Line company service
My dauther traveled to USA with an american air line. She is 14 and therefore I paid nearly 200 $ for the company's Unaccompanied Minor service (100 $ for each direction).
The flight from Israel to Newark was OK and she was accompanied for passprot control and after to the boarding gate for the next flight. She was told ''wait here until I call you'' but was forgoten by the satff and was not taken to the aircraft. She was left alone with no passport and boarding card. She called me and only after I called immediately to the Airline office and asked them to make an action they suceeded to stop the plane from taking off. They came back for my dauther and attached again the ''mobile path'' to the plane. They even took one passenger off the plane (one Stand By that somehow they booked him instead of my dauther). My dauther reached her destiny safely however it was only because she managed to contact me and I made some speedy actions. otherwise she would have missed the flight and left alone (remind you, 14 years old). She was in panic and we, the parents, too. I would like to ask about the conpensation that I can expect from the Airline. It was failure with pre-paid service and a very dangerous one (kid left alone). Is there a case?

Re: failure in pre-paid Air Line company service
Not really. What are your damages? She got on the plane, so even though they did a bad job, she got on there. And if you are going to suggest mental distress, then I'm going to ask you how many visits to the psychiatrist she's had since the incident. If your answer is zero, then that's the answer to whether there are mental damages.
