Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
Hello
Thank you for your consideration. I recently took out a loan in the amount if 10,000 dollars through western sky financial. I noticed they ceased writing any new loans and are being sued by the attorney general of NY. It appears there is a state usury violation making the contract void. My question is can I file a similar suit?
I reside in NJ and i believe the laws are somewhat the same.
Thank you
Don

You may be able to take action. I would need to see your loan documents, and then research it.
I am interested. Give my office a call, come in and see me. Bring your documents.
I will not charge you for the office visit.
If it seems worthwhile, I will pursue this for you.
