Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
kitchen being redone
I signed a contract for a kitchen remodel. In the contract the completion date was April 9,2007. The guy shows up every 3-4 days to do 1 hour of work and then I don't see him for another 3 days. I have been with an unfinished kitchen for almost 1 month when in the contract it was suppose to be 1 week. Most of the time he won't answer my phone calls and shows up at 6-7pm without calling. What can I do to force him to finish this job?

This kind of dispute is going to take a lawyer's help to be sure you do not end up harming yourself.
Find a lawyer not too far from you, who knows and handles consumer law claims. This is a 'home improvement' type problem.
