Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

Lemon Law

I initiated a case with a law firm to have my car taken back by the manufacturer

under the NJ Lemon Law. The manufac. accepted it ( within a week) and when

they sent me the release form the dollar amounts were incorrect. I sent more

paperwork to the law firm and they faxed it to the manufac. This was 2 months

ago, and the manufac. is not getting back to the law firm with any answers. Is

there anything else I can do? Should I change law firms? The law firm said they

keep calling he manufac. with no success. I really need to get this resolved soon.

Thank you for your assistance.

Re: Lemon Law

There are a number of alternatives available to your lawyer depending on the way in which you got to the settlement. Tell your lawyer that you would like the firm to be more agressive in either achieving settlement or bringing the matter back into court.
