Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

Levy on Real Property

A Levy on Real Property notice was left at my home yesterday regarding a judgement made against my husband, that we don't know much about. Does this mean there has been a lien put against my home? What exactly does this mean? Do we have any recourse to fight?

Re: Levy on Real Property

You should consult with a lawyer immediately. The notice of levy could mean several things. One of them is that the sheriff is going to sell the property to satisfy the debt. If that is important to you, now is the time to consult with a lawyer.
