Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

non discloser of information on a new (demo) car

I bought a new (demo) car from a dealer, 2 weeks later, we found that the radiator has a big dent in it. There was no other visible damage. They had it in the showroom. If I had known I was looking at a damaged car I would not have bought it. What recourse do I have to rectify this problem.

We can prove that it was pryor damage, there is rust on the dent. Thank you for helping, donna

You may have recourse under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. Previous undisclosed damage is dealt with specifically in at least two different sections of the law. You could also have common law fraud issues. I would need more information, however, before I could offer you advice on your case.
