Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
online transaction gone bad
bought $2000 product from ebay
user representing his company. he
never answered emails, never
shipped product, lied on webpage, lied
to me, paypal forced him to refund
my money. i went on public forums
and told my story also made ripoff
report naming names and what
happened. now they want to sue
me. what can happen to me? do
they have a case? i told the truth
everytime.

Truth is an absolute defense to a libel suit. However, there are other causes of action that might apply. It would be impossible to tell without reading the papers.
