Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
I ordered a custom pool cover off a web site in July. I received the correct size but the wrong material; I ordered mesh and received a solid cover. The merchant was very nasty when I called to ask what to do. My receipt is for a mesh cover. American Express ruled in my favor. I was credited 2,000.00 as of Nov 12. In the meantime I had to install the cover for winter. The merchant wants this custom cover back. It cost me to install it and now I would have to send this cover back. What should I do? I want to do the right thing.

You need to return the cover and perhaps you may want to ask the company for additional reimbursement of your costs.
