Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
I paid 1/2 of the amount as a deposit to the contractor to install a sprinkler system. I signed the contract as well.
Then I decided to back out of the contract.
The contractor has agreed to refund the money but it has been two weeks and I have yet to receive a check.
What legal action can I take?

For a small amount of money, you can probably get an attorney to help you out. May be the fastest way to resolve the issue.
