Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
I paid a company to help me prevent foreclosure on my home. they assured me that their success rate was high. It turns out that my home was sold and the bank will move forward with eviction. I paid this company 2600 and they did nothing. I had to adjourn the sale 2 times to buy them time and they accomplished nothing. Is there anyway I can get my money back. This company is based out of Utah and California

It looks like you were a victim of a scam by a company that passes themselves as a legal services company. You should file a complaint with your local consumer protection agency and check with your State Bar Assication to see if you have any recourse.
