Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
If a private community (Homeowners Association) posts a "No Soliciting" sign in the state of NJ can Jehovah's Witnesses et al still knock on doors to distribute literature and bear witness? They are not asking for monetary donations.

This matter can involve First Amendment issues for both sides.
Many of your neighbours may object to your religious beliefs or may be atheist.
You do have a right to express your religious beliefs, however, you cannot infringe on others religious beliefs.
