Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
Problems that have occurred after auto-body work was done
Recently I had auto-body work done to my daughter's care. Since then, everytime it rains the floor floods. So much that the car doesn't start probably, now, from the wiring shorting out. The auto-body guy finally towed it. She is now without a car, and has to get rides to school and to work. If the problem relates to his work, and even if he fixes it, is he responsible for some compensation towards us.
What happens if he says whatever work he did is fine, and it is just other problems with the car. Should I pursue this problem legally?
