Request Court Order for Records

I need to obtain a detailed phone listing of calls made from my home phone. The current service being provided no longer provides this information and in order to get it, I now have to obtain a court order, what is the process, thanks!

Re: Request Court Order for Records

You must have a legitimate suit in court. With that, your attorney can sign a "Subpoena

Deuces Teucum" which is an anchient terms that mean essentially "Get you butt over here and bring your stuff too!" He will ask for specific records. The custom with subpoenea dt is to offer the deponent an out. They are normally accompanied by a Notice to Take Deposition. That requires the deponent to choose between showing up or producing what is requested under oath. To do that right, you need an attorney to handle it if for no other purpose that you need a person who can take oaths.
