ripped off by glamour shots
we went to glamour shots in bridgewater mall and ended up walking out with a $797.00 for pictures. the rep was not clear about the prices and my fiancee and i felt victimized since she kept changing her story about the prices and added on prices for items we did not even want. amex is now beginning an investigation since we did call 2 hours later and offered to pay a cancellation fee and she stated we could not. and she cannot refund any of our money. what other legal avenues can we take with this? bait & switch? since she just stated $40.00 per sheet that ends up at $280.00 a package? (reminder 3 sheets per package) or theft by deception?

First, you should look into their return policy. Also, since you are disputing the charge, AMEX should be able to stop payment until it is resolved.

Many people have also found success with the Better Business Bureau.

If not, you should seek legal advice about filing a small claims lawsuit or suit for consumer fraud.
