Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
I signed a contract in NJ on Thursday and had 3 business days to rescind. I cancelled on Tuesday, but the party is telling me that Saturday is considered a business day so I actually cancelled on the 4th business day. But this was not stated anywhere in the contract that Saturday is considered a business day. Do I have any way to fight this?

Saturday is not considered a business day. Business days are Monday through Friday excepting legal holidays. Your cancellation on Tuesday is valid.
