I signed a contract for solar panels. company told me there was no out of pocket cost, contract had no amount, some how along the way I recieved a loan for 16k to the company, I have not signed the check, and will not sign the check over to the company. Can this contract be cancelled? It was a door to door sales person, who told me they would get payed by electric company and state.

Be very careful with this. You may be able to avoid the contract based on their failure to include an essential term. However, you must be careful that it does not seem that you defrauded the lender. I would advise you to have a business lawyer review the documents that you have before you decide on anything. /p/ My firm handles matters of this type. If I can be of further help to you, call or email. /p/ See also: http://info.corbettlaw.net/lawguru.htm
