Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey
I was the victim of a credit card skimmer, they took everything out of the Eppicard account with a cloned card on Sept 11th. Eppicard is unwilling to even send me claim forms or acknowledge my money was stolen. The woman I spoke with today outright refused to help me. They also told me that the issue was closed? I never filled out any paperwork, I never got it. This is the fourth time I have called and we are still missing that money. Legally they are supposed to have the same protections as a Mastercard/Visa. How do I work with a company that doesn't seem to want to work with me? Do I have to sue them in order for them to take Fraud seriously?
