It is not clear by your question as to what stage you are in in your bankruptcy proceeding. It is also not clear whether this particular creditor is or was listed on your bankruptcy petition. If they were included, it appears that they may be in violation of the automatic stay by attempting to collect on this debt. If they were inadvertently not included, they can still be included if you have not yet received your discharge and may be included thereafter under certain circumstances. In any case, you should immediately bring this to the attention of your attorney so that he/she can take appropriate action. Good luck!
