Debt collectors and work

A 3rd party debt collector contacted my place of employment, without revealing to the person who answered the phone that he was a collector. When my coworker informed him that I was not at work, he very forcefully told her to give him my work schedule, which she refused to give. Is he allowed to find out what my work schedule is like that?

CA's bully everyone to scare you and build a case against you. If you have a lot of debt owed, I suggest you consult wtih an attorney ASAP.
