Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

debt validaton

so i was sued by a lawyer trying to collect on a debt. I filed an answer and now we are discovery. For months I have been asking for debt validation. So today i get a letter containing 4 billing statments but no signatures....I get this after i answer their intterogatories.

My question is now they they provided the last four billing statements from the original creditor do i have to pay them? I thought they needed a signature...

Re: debt validaton

I would have to see them before I can tell you if that is proper validation.

I would suggest getting an attorney as it isn't wise to go up against an attorney by yourself.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
