Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Sir, I am physician came to this country, I was going through difficult time getting through my basic exams. In the process I moved to new state and I ignored my credit card through which I borred less than $1000. Now I am in my residency program, finishing in few months, this is very crucial time, I will go through licensing and looking for job which will take atleast 3 to 4 months, the credit card company has got a judgement and they have drawn $7000. from my saving account, I am left with $1000. Now what recourse I have, please give me advise, thankyou very much.
