I need a letter disputing a debt owed. I

paid the debt and yet MBNA continues

to try and collect

this takes a short letter from an attorney, which I would be happy to assist you with, and possibly more. you could do this on your own, i suppose, if they will pay attention to you.

you will also want to have the credit reporting agencies show this as 'paid'.
