Re: Lien for child support against ex

Judgment can be entered in NJ based on the Florida judgment. Since this involves child support, it can be done more quickly than what would be entailed for non-child support judgments. In any case, you need to immediately seek the advice of an attorney. I will be happy to assist you. However, you need to call me at 856-546-8010. If you mention LawGuru, there will be no charge for your first consultation. Good luck! Rob Gleaner

You can place a lien on the property with the judgment you received in Florida. Time is of the essence in this matter. It is very important that a lien is filed prior to your husband closing on the sale. You need to discuss this matter with an attorney as soon as possible. I am available and can be reached at 201-646-9600. The initial consultation if free.

I look forward to hearing from you.
