Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

fraud

my question is that i was send some money orders in the mail from a person i don't know. so i took the money orders and i sent them back to sender. a few days later i received an e-mail that said that i cashed the money orders and i am in posession of it. i have no clue what's going on and i need an advice on how i can protect my name and reputation from people like this.

please help what's my legal rights.

Your story is bizarre. I think you need to show an attorney all of the documents that you have, go over what happened and get some advice. It may be some kind of fraud, but I really can not tell.
