Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

My ex husband purchased a house and obtained a mortgage in his name only. Now it is going to foreclosure. I assume that I was listed as a defendant along w/his other creditors in case because he owed back child support to me?? do I need to take any action

It is most likely that you are named on the complaint because there is the possibility that you have a spousal interest in the property. The foreclosure process will affect you in the sense that it will extinguish that interest. However, there could be more to it and you may want to have a lawyer look over the papers to be sure.
