How do go about getting the money back from my ex husband. He is a police officer in NEW York. I called the PBA where the checks were dispense from but they said they can not give me any information regarding the checks since it is not my insurance card.

Your ex is a really horrible person. But more importantly, when he did this, he left evidence, tracks that I can pursue and prove that he stole the money. The NYPD probably does not like its officers to steal and forge signatures on checks and then tell lies about it. Probably not at all.

What to do? Call me, come in and see me, and I will take steps to get you repaid for your losses, and to prevent him from pulling this kind of nasty nonsense on you in the future.

He really does not care about his kids, either, or he would not be fooling around with their medical insurance payments.

I have some friends who are NYPD cops and detectives. They are honorable, tough men, and would NEVER do this.

Call me, I will enjoy assisting you. Let's get moving on this for you.

Please keep in mind that my response is just a general comment on your question, and not legal advice. Your question and any response does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between you and this law firm. The exact details of your situation and things that you have not mentioned in your question can completely change the answer to your question. You can not rely upon what I have written, because I do not have all of the formation that I need to advise you, I only have the very small amount of information that you put into your question.
