Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Getting Judgement removed from credit report

Can one get a paid judgement removed from one's credit report? I heard about something called, ''setting aside the judgement'', or, ''vacating the judgement''? Can someone explain these and how they work? What's involved in getting a judgement removed from a credit report?

Re: Getting Judgement removed from credit report

Negative information like a judgment can stay on your credit report for up to 7 years. You may be able to have that reporting removed by negotiating with your creditor. If you need more information, you can contact me at 732-545-9292.
