Can a doctor put a judgement against a parent for their minor child's medical bill

Parents are responsible for medical charges for their minor children and you probably signed something to that effect at the doctor's office. Ask the doctor either for a payment plan or if he will accept another amount less than full payment if paid immediately. Good luck.

yes.

now, an attorney may help you to deal with this, make some arrangement to avoid the nastier parts of having someone take a court judgment and force payment by seizing assets, bank accounts, garnishing wages.
