My fiance currently has some credit issues(collections,judgements etc)

If we were to get married will it enable the creditors to go after my assets?i.e.my house

Its been a while since I dealt with this issue, so I would have to look it up. A lot depends on who owns what, i.e. own the house together or just you? Here's the real issue, even if they can't, they still may try and that could lead to a lot of headaches. Why not just clear up the issues now and start fresh?
