Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

judgements....

I have 3 judgements filed by pressler and pressler amounts of 5000., 1800., and 600. I answered an information supeona and they tried to levy my account. the problem I'm having is that

I had asked them for verification of these accounts many times before and no answer. when I finally got an answer from them they said the judgments were filed already so they were not required to provide me with verification. I never even found out about these court dates which were in 2005. I would not have been able to make it regardless because I spent 8 months during that time on a strict bed rest in and out of a hospital. Is there anything I can do?

Re: judgements....

File a motion to vacate the judgments. Here's the problem: going up against P&P by yourself could be difficult but getting an attorney to help you could cost more than you owe them.
