Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

loan agreement

I have a personal loan agreement which I had signed by the borrower and myself, the loaner. There are no witness signatures. Can the agreement still hold up in court? Also I live in NJ and she is in NY, and she moved since the agreement was drawn, does that make a difference? The agreement states it follows the laws of NJ.

I agree with Mr. Davies and I would suggest that you call him. It does sound like you are trying to get paid but aren't having much luck. A lawyer would have to look at all of the circumstances before he or she could give you a good answer.
