Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey
need lower payment agreemnt
I wrote to my credit card companies and advised them of the amount I was able to pay now, due to a severe turn in my financial situation. Can they demand that I pay more than I can afford now? I do not want to be forced to file bankruptcy. I'm on permanent disability and also want to know if the me SS check can be garnished?
Thank you for help
