Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Medical Bill - NJ Statute of Limitation

What is the statute of limitation on a medical bill in New Jersey? We are being sued for services dating back to 2003. We had never received a bill prior to the lawsuit. We were unaware we owed anything. We have requested a detailed bill on services rendered.

The limitations period if you are a patient is 6 years. If I can be of further help to you, call or email.

You're going in the right direction as it is but I would still suggest you meet with an attorney to review your case sooner rather than later.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
