Non-Cancelable Commercial Lease Agreement

Three years ago I worked at a restaurant and signed a lease for two credit card terminals for the restauarnt, now the owner stopped paying the company now there coming after me for the money, I told them I have,nt worked there in 2 years and I don't know why they stopped paying them, but they do not care, they said I'm responsible for the remaining balance whiches over $800, what should I do?

It would be unusual for you to be liable for your employer's lease. To be sure that you did not accidentally sign a personal guarantee, I would need to review the lease documents. If you don't have a copy of the documents on which the alleged debt is based, the creditor will provide one to you.
