Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Small Claims Court

I lent someone money about 7 months ago, about $7000. I have contacted them and tried to have them pay me back but they have avoided and evaded me. I wanted to know if I can take this case to Small Claims Court. I am unsure if I have any proof I lent them the money, such as a written agreement. I just have emails of myself asking for them to pay me back. Will my case make it in Small Claims Court?

Re: Small Claims Court

You really have to sue to get your money back, in small claims court. You will testify that you loaned the money.

If you would like, give me a call; I am in northern New Jersey. The telephone consultation will be free. I would be happy to help you out.
