Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

BEING SUED!! Is my Debt outside SOL

How can I find out if Newport-News Charge Card (clothing catalogue) through FCNB Bank is considered an open-ended account? If it is an open-ended account or whatever type of account it is considered, what is the satute of limitations in NJ? I have a court date set with a law firm representating a collection agency but If this account is outside the SOL I should win correct? Or not even have to go to court? My last payment on this account was march 2004. I currently live in NJ. How can I get this collection off my report if its outside the SOL?

Just because the law is on your side, does not mean that you will win. Welcome to NJ. If the amount is large enough, you may want to get an attorney.
