Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Being Sued

I received notice I was being sued, The info on the letter had my name and social security # wrong so I ignored it. Now I received notice that a judgement was entered against me for $1200.00. Letters to the court and the plantiff attorney asking the origin of the suit were unanswered, what can I do?

Re: Being Sued

At this point, the more important issue is your credit as opposed to the money. I suggest you get an attorney to fight this for you.
