theft of services

if someone owes money from there company and sells there business. where does a person stand when the person is now running from the debt?

I can't follow your question. A creditor can assign their right to collect a debt to someone else as the terms of the loan, contract, etc. have not changed. You still owe money to someone under the same terms. Whether or not you, as the debtor can transfer your debt to someone else depends upon the terms of the loan, contract, etc.
