Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Verizon local phone line NJ SOL

I have a current suit with pressler and pressler reguarding a old verizon bill with last payment before july 2001.

I have searched everywhere. Does NJ see Verizon phone service under the UCC for contracts for sale SOL of 4 years?

By its terms, the UCC applies to the sale of goods. Although courts frequently extend UCC principles to the sale of services, it does not specifically apply to services. Limitations are statutory and consequently subject to less judicial discression. That is, they are interpreted more literally. The six-year default contract period of limitations probably applies to telephone service. If a suit is filed, it's still worth having your lawyer check the case law.
