Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

Wage Garnishment by a creditor

Can a creditor actually garnish my wages? Without a court judgement or anything??? They are claiming that they are ''proceeding with this action'' is this simply a tactical move on their part to make me pay?

Re: Wage Garnishment by a creditor

I suggest you get an attorney before they file against you. Its a lot cheaper and easier to deal with a creditor before they file anything in court than it is afterwards.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
