Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

2c:35-10a(4)

I was arrested with a very small amount of marijuana, less than a gram.

Is the loss of license portion of the penalty mandatory. Any insight would be appriciated.

Its no longer mandatory, but it still happens a majority of the time. To avoid it, I would get an attorney, especially one that knows how best to save your license.

I'd be more than happy to help you with this case. My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

You can avoid losing your license if you are a first offender who receives first offender treatment or if the case is dismissed or you are found not guilty.

Call me if you like.
