Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

2c:33-4a, 2c:12-1a

after a recent custody motion for my wife & her X. My wife won her motion and outside the courtroom her X became irate and began making death threats to her, me and her mom. My wife filed a restraining order against him. Me and my her mother were also included in tro. The next day at our sons soccer game her X came over to me and agressively threatened me again. We filed the tro on fri afternoon and I filed a report w/ the police after the game on sat. On monday him and his wife filed these two charges against me. His states harrassment and hers simple assalt. No assalt took place and he was the one making bodily threats. I feel this is just a retaliation for our filing a retraining order. What should I do now?

You should speak to a good attorney ASAP. This kinda case is very common, I just had one today and I see a lot of them.
