Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I am 21; I was caught shoplifting at shoprite. The total was 93.00. What can I do so it can stay off my record should I get a lawyer or just be honest and plea guilty.

Do not plead guilty. With a lawyer you can probably have the charge changed to being disorder,
which is not theft.
Call me if you like.

You should never just give up and plead guilty without getting some advice and trying to have the charges dropped or downgraded. I can help if you'd like for a low fee.
